  • Stringybark Festival hosted by Knox City Council

    Pizza’s, bushtucker, falafels, cupcakes and more were served up on the reusable plates at the 2022 Stringybark Festival. The small plates also played their part by serving up the tasters from the cooking demo’s taking place throughout the day. 1,226 plates and bowls were diverted from landfill.

  • Camberwell Grammar Open Day

    These crepes, along with a few other food vendors made the switch from single-use plates to reusable plates thanks to Camberwell Grammar’s incentive to implement reusables at their school open day.

  • Victoria University Block Party

    Oh to be a uni student! VU put on an epic day of games and food trucks for some mid week fun. All registered students scored themselves two free meals which kept the dishes flowing. 786 plates to be exact!

  • Federation Square Vegan Market

    A pleasure keeping yet another one of Melbourne’s finest venue’s free from single-use plates and bowls. With a commercial kitchen within the venue it was a simple switch for Fed Square.

  • Victoria University Orientation Day

    A great example of our tailored system. VU unfortunately didn’t have a dishwasher available for us to wash the dishes so we arranged a dry hire of the plates to then wash at our Melbourne hub. 851 plates were washed and are ready for reuse!

  • Rising

    53,284 plates, bowls and cups were washed and reused over 3 weeks at Rising Melbourne. By implementing our reusables, Rising diverted 12.5 tonnes of what could have been, single-use food packaging from landfill.

    “From June 1-19 Green My Plate were on site at the Sydney Myer Music Bowl providing and washing cups, plates and bowls for 5 pop up restaurants and 5 bars. The team did an amazing job staying on top if this huge task and were the backbone of keeping the F&B program running smoothly for the duration of The Wilds.   • The Australian Greens National Conference

    The reusable plates and cutlery had the honour of serving up for local Melbourne caterer, Flavours of Syria, at the Australian Greens National Conference. 600 plates, 600 forks and 600 spoons were saved from landfill for the weekend conference with one of our legend GMP dishwashers on hand to wash after lunch and dinner service.

  • Glenroy Festival hosted by Merri-bek City Council

    262 plates and bowls saved from landfill along with a whole lot of gratitude from the local community who praised the reusables for minimising their waste.

  • Australian Grand Prix 2022

    Located in the kids zone and VIP area of the Grand Prix, 3,594 reusable plates and bowls were saved from landfill with the hope to expand the GMP reusables and closed loop service to even more of the event after a successful pilot.

  • Australian Open 2022

    13,078 reusable plates & bowls were washed and recirculated at the AO22. This equates to 2.5 tonnes of waste diverted from landfill, which is about 29 Rafael Nadal’s!

    On top of this another 1.6 tonnes of food scraps & compostable cutlery were also separated and composted. That’s 3,040kg’s of greenhouse gases diverted from our atmosphere… or in other words, 271 days of electricity consumption for one household.

  • Tourism Noosa Christmas Party

    Our first event on the Sunny Coast! With 1,032 plates and bowls and over 1,000 pieces of cutlery washed and reused, we eliminated 5 wheelie bins worth of single-use food packaging from landfill, along with half a wheelie bin of food scraps.

  • Fitzroy & Family Fundraiser

    With 144 plates saved from landfill, the Fitzroy & Family Fundraiser proved you don’t have to be a big event to make a difference.

  • Broadsheet Bushfire Relief Picnic

    Held at the National Gallery of Victoria, we eliminated all food packaging from the venue whilst providing reusable plates to over 20 food vendors. A whopping 2,017 plates were saved from landfill.

  • Grill For Good

    Plates for a good cause. A small community event rallying together after the bushfires where we donated and contributed our dishwashing skills to eliminating 440 plates from landfill.

  • Annaleise & Nick's Wedding

    Annaleise & Nick had their dance floor clean from any single-use food packaging by having 200 reusable plates, 150 bowls and 150 forks accompany their wedding buffet.
